Marie Dukes has been singing ever since she can remember. Her smooth alto voice produces tight harmonies for the group and rounds out their unique sound. She is not only a talented singer, but also a gifted songwriter and musician as well. She serves as church organist and church secretary at her home church, Victory Baptist in Valdosta, Georgia, where her father, Dr. Steve Ward is pastor. Her desire to serve the Lord and lift Him up is very evident in Marie's life. She has a wonderful testimony and great spirit and is very thankful to have the opportunity to do what she has always loved...singing for the Lord.
Jonathan Montgomery is the tenor part for the group. To sing has been his passion since he was a small child. He was raised in a Godly home where music was always a huge part of his life. At the age of six he started playing the piano and by the age of ten he was playing anything he heard. Singing had been around for a while by that time. At the age of two he started singing in church with his parents and hasn't stopped yet.
He is a well accomplished singer/songwriter who longs to serve the Lord with all of his talents and hopes to be a part of Southern Gospel for a long time.
Tracy Jones sings the soprano part for the group. She began singing in church as a child, became the church pianist by the time she was 9 years old, and began writing songs at the age of 13. She continues to serve as church pianist and church secretary at Victory Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia, where her father, Dr. Steve Ward, has been pastor for 25 years. She continues to write songs for the group and for other well-known Southern Gospel groups such as the Inspirations, who have included her songs on their last 5 recordings. She has also co-written songs with Ricky Atkinson, including the recent #5 chart-topper recorded by Compassion entitled "I'm Blessed."
Tracy counts it a joy to be in the Lord's service and believes that singing is a true calling in her life.
