Hi Friends,
It's been several weeks since we did an update, so here we go....
We're excited to announce that our brand new CD, entitled "This Time Tomorrow", is finally back on schedule for production. As some of you may know, we were in the studio mid-June to make our new recording. We did tracks on Monday and vocals on Tuesday (we already told you about that) and then on Wednesday following our recording session, our engineer Mike Pillow was nearly fatally injured in a motorcycle accident. Mike has had a long, slow recovery, but thank the Lord he is doing better and has been working on getting our CD finished. Our original plan was to have them back by now, but the Lord knows. We're just extremely thankful that the Lord spared Mike's life and he is doing much better.
If you missed Campmeeting at Victory Baptist Church (our home church), you certainly missed out. What a blessing to see many of our friends that we only see once a year. The worship, singing, preaching and fellowship was better than ever before. We were blessed to have the Marksmen Quartet and the Brady Rochester Family as our guests and we certainly enjoyed their music. We also enjoyed singing to the "campmeeting crowd." There's nothing like it! Make your plans now to join us for next year. Campmeeting is always the last full week in July.
We had fun a few weeks ago doing background vocals for our friend and fellow Gospel Post member, Stephen Jones. Isn't it funny that he has the same name as my husband? We've had fun with that one...not only does he have the same name, but he has the same hair, too. Anyway....we enjoyed our time in the studio with him. Thanks to Stephen for giving us the awesome opportunity. We hope to get to do that again sometime.
We attended the annual Southwest Florida Teen Retreat in Cape Coral, FL, the first weekend in August. We always look forward to this great time with our church teenagers and about 500 more from all over Florida and South Georgia. Jonathan unfortunately wasn't able to go with us this year, and did we ever miss him! We tried to figure out why the whole trip was so calm and quiet...even on the bus for 6 hours at the time...then we realized it was because we didnt' have Jonathan! We came to the conclusion that he is the life of the party and hopefully we won't have this schedule conflict again. Kimberly however did an awesome job singing with us...we had alot of fun doing the "girl" thing. You get us sisters and cousins together and it's always a party! We also enjoyed singing with Bro. Tim Hawkins on a few songs...he did a great job singing the tenor part.
Well, after being scattered here and there and being out of commission for a few weeks, VictorySong is ready to get back in business! Marie was able to enjoy a week's vacation with her family, and I spent a couple of weeks recovering from dental surgery (again.) Thankfully we're all well and back to business and ready to get back in the routine of school, church and singing. We have an upcoming concert this Saturday night (the 30th) at New Hope Baptist Church in Cordele, GA. If you don't have anything else to do on a Saturday night, come join us for a night of Gospel Music.
Our next big event will be on September 26th. We will be singing at the Lighthouse Girls' Home in Tallahassee with Greater Vision! Can't wait! We always look forward to this concert and as usual feel extremely honored to share a stage with Greater Vision! Make your plans to come and join us.
We will post an announcement on our website as soon as the new CD's are completed. We hope you will love it...we have 10 new songs that we carefully and prayerfully chose, and we think it will be the best ever. Pray with us that we will get them back quickly.
As usual, please keep VictorySong in your prayers. We love each of you and we love this ministry!
God Bless,
Tracy (and Marie and Jonathan)

Well.....we were in the studio Monday and Tuesday recording our newest project "This Time Tomorrow". We are so excited about this project. It features 10 more original songs written by the three of us. We've all prayed about what the Lord would have us put on this project. It is our desire to help the hurting and to show the love of Christ to the lost.
Monday we started early with the tracks. Thanks to all of the guys that helped make these songs all that we wanted them to be. It's so awesome to hear a song that started with one little phrase and one little melody grow into beautiful fully orchestrated tracks. Danny Crawford is the greatest pianist in our eyes. So....that was a long day. We were in the studio about 10 hours.
Then on Tuesday it was time for vocals. The Lord really helped us get through it. We all love to sing but when you're talking about 10 hours straight, you're talking WORK on the vocal chords. Thankfully everything went smooth and we think the finished product is going to be our best yet. Thank you to Mike Pillow for all the help.
Speaking of Mike, (the engineer on the project). The day after we left the studio he was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident and suffered numerous injuries. Please lift him up in your prayers as he will have a long recovery. The Pillows are the sweetest people and we pray that Mike will have a speedy recovery.

We will be singing at Bro. Joe Arthur's Church Sunday evening and then it's off to the studio Monday morning. We will be posting more info as we make progress.

Hello everyone! It's hard to believe Spring arrived so quickly and summer is just around the corner. It seems like it was just Christmas a few days ago! It's been several months since we've written an article, so we figured it was past time to catch up on the news from VictorySong.
We started out the year with a concert at our home church in January featuring VictorySong and our special guests The Inspirations! You don't get any more big-time than sharing the stage with the most well-known Southern Gospel Group of all time. What a great night! The Lord certainly blessed us with a wonderful time of fellowship and great singing and we were thrilled to have had a part in this event.
The months of January and February are always full for us because we spend at least 2 or 3 nights per week watching our kids play basketball! Tracy and Marie both have kids on the teams at our church school, and Jonathan's wife coaches the girls' team. So we become big sports fans and usually completely destroy our vocal cords. It was probably a good thing we didn't have any concerts during this time! We were also involved in putting together our teen Valentine Banquet at our church, and as always it was huge success. We always try to do all we can to influence the young people in our lives and work with the youth leaders in our church to help make our youth group exciting and fun for the kids. Anytime there is a major teen event at our church, VictorySong is usually involved in some way.
Another highlight of our year that happened in February was our annual performance for our AWANA program at church. The AWANA leader calls it "An Evening With VictorySong", and we have a blast! We trade our Southern Gospel repertoire for a long list of songs like "Father Abraham" and "I've Got the Joy" and we ham it up for a solid hour. The kids love it and we all agree that it's one of our favorite things to do.
The month of March brought revival meeting at our church with Bro. Joe Arthur and Bro. Mark Wheeler. And boy did we have revival! The Lord came and met with us on Monday night of the meeting in a way that we haven't seen in a long time. The Spirit of the Lord was so real that at times we were afraid to open our eyes for fear that the Lord was standing there! We were thankful for that special time of refreshing and renewal in our lives. What a blessing!
The next few months will bring several concert events for VictorySong and we are also anticipating going into the studio again very soon. We are currently considering producing an acapella CD and we're also busy writing new songs and making decisions for another major project. Please pray for us as we are ready to get back in the swing of things. We are available for bookings so give us a call if you're interested!
We pray that you all are enjoying these days of beautiful weather and remembering that the Lord is the Giver of everything good and our provider and Friend through all the seasons of our lives. Isn't He good? I know you will agree. Until next time, be blessed!

It's been a while since an update. So, here goes. We had a great time down in Tampa at Bro. Lawson's church. Thank you to Tracy son Spencer who helped out on the guitar and our good friend Jonathan Smith on the bass. The Lord was present during the service. We hope that someone was helped through our music. We've a slow couple of months which is great this time of year. We are all three very envolved in our upcoming musical drama at our church. If you have a chance, you should visit us during the production. I'm sure your heart will be blessed. You can find more info on our church site www.victorybaptistvaldosta.com Tracy actually wrote the play (another one of her many talents). Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We're excited to see what God has in store for us in 2008. We hope to have a new CD out sometime next year. Later
What a blessing we received from the youth revival at Gulf Coast Baptist Church in Cape Coral FL. Everything was great!!! We saw souls saved and lives changed. Our church had about 20 teens to make the trip. Just imagine.....two days jam packed with things to do. First, a meal on Thursday afternoon then church. After that, we went roller skating. And I must say....VictorySong still has it when it comes to the rink. Friday morning was started off with an awesome breakfast at the church followed by a morning service that lasted until noon. Lunch was served after that and then it was off to the bowling alley. We had a great time there!!! So we knocked over a few pins and then it was back to the motel to freshen up. Supper followed that and then another service that evening. Saturday we had a great morning service and then it was time to hit the road for the 6 hour trip home. It was alot to take in and we were exhausted but we had a great time. Look for pics of the trip soon.

Special thanks to everyone who made the Gospel Post Convention such a great success. We have had a wonderful time being part of the convention for the past couple of years. For those of you who don’t know about the Gospel Post magazine, it’s a Southern Gospel Magazine that is published every month with information on a variety of local and regional artists. The magazine is a great way to keep up with concerts and events in the Georgia/Florida area. If you would like to subscribe to the Gospel Post Magazine or if you would like more information, please contact us. A subscription is only $9.00 per year. Also, as a subscriber, you have the chance to vote for your favorite group in several categories. The winners are announced at the Gospel Post Convention. Thanks again to our fans that came out to watch us perform. We love you all. Check out some pictures from the convention on our Photo Gallery.
We had a great time singing at the all night gospel sing in Valdosta, GA last Saturday night. A special thanks to all the fans that came out to support us. We enjoyed working with promoter Jason Mosley and hope to work with him in the future. The night was great, with singing by the Perrys, The Reggie Saddler Family and The Dixie Melody Boys. The highlight of the night was at the end of the concert, when we all gathered on the stage to sing a few hymns requested by the audience. To be on stage with such talent was an amazing feeling. Thanks to everyone who came to see us at Kettle Creek Church in Waycross GA. We had a great time with the Diplomats, The Georgians and Romans Road Trio. As we were traveling to the church we saw all of the devastation that the Waycross fires have caused. We will remember in our prayers, those who suffered loss from the fires.

Thanks Greenwood Baptist Church. Thanks for allowing us to provide special music for the service on Monday night of the revival. Our hearts were blessed. We can’t wait to be with you again.

We had the best time at the Greater Vision Baptist church last week. Thursday night we started the service off with a few songs and our pastor Dr. Steve Ward brought a great missions message. After he was finished preaching, the pastor asked us to sing a couple of songs before the next preacher. The Lord started moving, people started testifying and the service broke out into revival. You could just feel the presence of the Lord in the room. Friday night was another wonderful service. We sang a couple of songs and our pastor brought another great message. Two people were gloriously saved that night. It’s all about making a difference in someone’s life. We feel so humbled that the Lord would use us in helping bring the lost to him.

Sorry it’s taken so long to update everyone on the Karen Peck and New River trip. I met Karen and her family at her house Thursday afternoon around 4:00pm. I kept calm on the outside but inside I was jumping up and down. KPNR has been one of my favorite groups since I can remember. So...we loaded the bus down with everything you can imagine and headed off to Springdale, Arkansas. The mood was kind of awkward at first but in just a few minutes we all hit it off. After we got a little further down the road I decided to take a tour of the bus and find out where I’d be sleeping. We drove 17 hours straight so we had to sleep on the bus going and coming back. Anyway....Karen walked me through the bus and pointed to what I thought was the floor. She then told me that the hole in the wall was my bed. Let me just say that if you had the slightest problem with tight places, you couldn’t have slept in that bunk. After checking out my sleeping quarters I went back into the living area of the bus. Susan (Karen’s sister) came from the back with a miniature keyboard so we could go over some things. We chose a few songs to sing for an invitation and we went over some songs that they sing. Because of some unforeseen events, Devin (the tenor for their group) didn’t get to ride the bus with us going. This gave me an opportunity to add a third part with Karen and Susan. I was in heaven!!! So we sang a little and talked a little and watched TV a little. By now it was time to go to bed. It had been a long day for me so I was exhausted and ready for some good hard rest. Yeah right. I went to the back of the bus where all of the bunks were. The bunks are stacked three high so there was very little room inside. I stood there wondering how in the world I was going to crawl in that dark hole. After some debate, I dropped to my hands and knees and kind of rolled into the bed. I lay there in the dark. Exhaustion had taken over my body just a few minutes ago and now that I was lying down I was wide awake. It never fails. I laid there thinking about everything. About how good God is in letting me do something I had only dreamed of. I thought about the trip ahead and wondered what the Lord had in store for our trip. Then I thought how my feet were freezing. They weren’t just cold...they were beginning to feel numb. I think at one point hypothermia had set in. I took my cell phone out and tried to play around with it, thinking it would take my mind off of my now frozen feet. No signal. I tossed and turned, flipped and flopped but sleep was not an option. All I could hear was the roar of the bus. Every now and then you could hear someone in the next bunk cough or turn over. I finally decided to get up around 5:00am the next morning. I felt if I stayed in that bed one more minute I was sure to vomit. The motion from the bus and the sub-zero temperatures in the bunk were making for a not so enjoyable night. I rolled out of my bunk and into the hall way a little embarrassed and disoriented and made my way to the front of the bus. Ricky (Karen’s husband) was up front driving. I sat in the “buddy” seat and talked with him for a few minutes then went to the living area and turned on the TV. I was sick from sleep deprivation. We finally arrived in Springdale 4 hours later. After checking into our motel room we met the pastor for lunch at a restaurant across the road. We had a great time of fellowship. When we were finished eating, we rode over to the high school to set up sound for the meeting. I helped unload a little but had no clue how to help with the sound, so I just kind of stood back. Set up was done in a few minutes and with a sound check everything was good to go. So, we headed back to the motel to rest a little and get ready for that evening. We arrived at the high school around 6:30 and were waiting until 7:00 to go in. Karen came to me and asked did I know their songs and of course I said yes. I have all of her CDs so I felt pretty confident. She then asked if I would like to play backup on the keyboard with their tracks. Once again I was calm on the outside but jumping up and down inside. I calmly answered, like it was no big deal, “I would love to”. I thought the entire time that I was only there to play a few invitation songs. What an honor to be asked to play for their entire set. We hit the stage full force at 7:00. I didn’t really know all of the keys that the songs were in but I felt like I could find it pretty quickly. Devin knew what keys a few of the songs were in so he’d just tell me before the song started. On the first song he looked at me and mouthed, A flat, A and B flat. Here we go!! The track starts and I hit the biggest A flat of my life but it wasn’t an A flat. It was the most awful chord I have ever played. I looked up at Devin with my eyes as big as saucers and said “Your Wrong”. He looked puzzled. He said again, A Flat. This time I softly played an A flat. It wasn’t right. All of a sudden I see someone running across the back of the stage behind the singers and right towards me. It was a lady who had played a couple of congregational songs and had transposed the keyboard. She came to the keyboard and started pressing buttons to change it back to its original setting while apologizing the entire time. I knew she was embarrassed so I assured her that it was fine. After that I played like it was the last thing I’d ever do. It was so much fun. That service and the next couple of services that we sang at were unbelievable. They even asked me to sing with them during all of the invitations. The Lord blessed each of the services. People were saved and lives were changed. I’m so thankful to the Lord for the opportunity to use my talent for him. And yes, I took a Dramamine on the way back home.

Exciting News!!!! I received a phone call yesterday from Devin McGlamery of Karen Peck and New River, inviting me to accompany them on the piano during a conference in Springdale, AR. It is such an honor to be asked to travel for a few days with one of Southern Gospels most loved trios. Please pray that I will be all God would have me be during the meeting. I'll let you know how everything goes.

I must say that the campmeeting at the First Baptist Church in Steinhatchee, FL was one of the best meetings we’ve attended. The preaching and singing during the week were just wonderful. Our pastor, Dr. Steve Ward preached a great and very needed message on Monday night. A big thank you to all of the members that made this week happen. Also thank you Bro. Holden for having us. It means alot.
